As a 2-year-old, he was imported to the Netherlands. He is a son of Wirtsmühle Delaney's, the champion of the International Stallion Inspection in 2014. Delaney's himself is an exceptional mover, and he has certainly passed on his movement quality to Celtic Night.

His dam, Barholts Evita, is the foundation mare of Stoeterij Skærgården. Celtic Night is her fourth son to be approved in Class 1. She is also the grandmother of HOYS winner Skærgårdens Delicious Love (by Wirtsmühle Delaney’s).For her jumping test, she scored a 9 for power and an 8 for both technique and rideability.
