Originally Aalter Breeding farm used to breed English thoroughbred horses.
In order to find the best pony for her daughters, Anne fell in love with the Connemara Poney.
20 years ago, during a trip to Irland, she went to “the source” and visited some well known breeders and bought her first pony’s.
Since then, every year a bunch of new foals are playing in the fields.
Today the pony’s are ridden by her grandchildren!
Anne is chair of the “Connemara Pony Belgium” and is a well-known judge. She likes driving and participates to traditional carriage driving competitions.
